Solution combines the company’s systems centric approach to wireless, called OneWireless, with a controller based batch management and execution solution, called Experion Batch Manager (EBM). Wireless applications for batch execution provide access to all relevant data in the context of the batch. Real-time tank levels, remote environmental data, compressed gas quantities, etc. can be accessed in operator instructions, batch reports, transition conditions, start conditions, output commands, and more. By using OneWireless devices, operators, maintenance and engineering staff have the control room at their fingertips while out on the plant floor to ensure that a batch isn’t held up while waiting for operator input, or that a periodic manual procedure is done correctly, or that data is captured correctly and fed into the batch in progress.
