Salient CRGT, Inc., announced a task order award from the FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM). Salient CRGT will provide full lifecycle support for CVM systems and technologies, operations and maintenance (O&M), as well as development, modernization, and enhancement projects. This three-year effort is valued at approximately $15 million.
Salient CRGT, in partnership with team members VersaTech and Appian, will support the CVM in several IT areas, including O&M, enterprise applications, configuration management, and release management. The company will provide IT operations expertise for CVM applications, systems, and web/application services that enable approximately 500 users and scientific community stakeholders. Salient CRGT will also develop new solutions and enhance existing applications to ensure maximum operability of the CVM while optimizing CVM user experience and productivity.
The FDA is responsible for protecting the nation’s public health by assuring the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, medical devices, national food supply, cosmetics and radiation emitting products. Specifically, the CVM’s mission is to protect human and animal health through the regulation of animal drugs, food additives, and devices.
