Biometric Authentication Technology is a camera-based, layered anti-counterfeiting solution that captures the information embedded in the structure of a particular package and transforms it into a digital signature using a proprietary software solution. The "digital signature" is more unique than a fingerprint, with only one in 1027 having identical configurations. Currently used in high security markets, such as secured documents, currency and high-end cosmetics, this patented technology has no known method of counterfeiting, which eliminates the need for reevaluation and investment in new anti-counterfeiting technologies in the future. The technology can be utilized at multiple entry points in the supply chain and can handle packaging line speeds of 15 items per second. It also allows for seamless integration with e-Pedigree and serialization.
