CHICAGO (AP) — Printing services company R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. is buying custom packaging provider Genesis Packaging & Design Inc. in order to provide its customers with more offerings.
“Genesis enhances our ability to serve packaged food and beverage producers, pharmaceutical companies, consumer electronics manufacturers, retailers, consumer packaged goods producers, educational publishers, and a range of other customers,” Chief Operating Officer John Paloian said in a statement.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Last month R.R. Donnelley & Sons announced that it purchased LibreDigital, a digital content distribution provider, for an undisclosed amount.
R.R. Donnelley & Sons is based in Chicago. Genesis is based in Lemont, Ill.
