Romaco Opens North American Headquarters

By Pharmaceutical Processing | December 11, 2014

Romaco North America (N.A.), a subsidiary of Romaco Group, a global supplier of tableting and packaging technologies, has officially opened its new headquarters in New Jersey. The office is located at 8 Commerce Way in Hamilton, NJ.

The office provides Romaco with a focused approach to the tableting and packaging marketplace of North America by serving as a local base for sales, customer service, spare parts, rebuilds, pre-installation inspection and line integration. The Romaco brands include Kilian, Siebler, Noack, Promatic, Macofar, Unipac and Bosspak. The location also will include a demonstration lab for packaging and tableting machine trials.

The business is overseen by Charles Ravalli, who is responsible for all Romaco Group activities in North America. Mr. Ravalli has more than 35 years of experience in the packaging industry, during which he has contributed significantly to the business development of several well-known international companies. This includes a 22-year tenure as CEO of Oystar USA and Hassia USA, prior to that, with Bosch and Perry Industries.

“The opening of our Hamilton location allows Romaco’s dedicated packaging and tableting professionals to focus on servicing our customers in North America. The Romaco Group’s – Beyond Technology tag line is regarding the expectations of our machinery, people and services bringing long term value to our customers. This is a key to our continued growth in North America,” said Ravalli.

Other key Romaco executives also will continue their roles at the Hamilton facility; this includes National Sales Manager Paul Walencikowski – a long-time packaging sales professional – and Bill Crozier, who oversees sales for Romaco’s Kilian line of tablet presses. In addition, an experienced customer orientated local team of parts and technical service professionals are prepared to support our numerous installations.

Expanding operations in North America is a focal point of Romaco’s overall strategy for the future. The new brick-and-mortar locale, including the market knowledge gained through executives such as Mr. Ravalli, allow Romaco to provide its range of services more effectively and at optimal times.
