High Purity Diaphragm Valve Designed For Sanitary Backpressure Control In WFI Applications

The Type 2031 High-Purity Diaphragm Valve when coupled with a Type 8630 TOP Control System is ideal for sanitary backpressure control in WFI applications. The 2-way valve handles ultra-pure, sterile, aggressive, abrasive and/or high-viscosity fluids between 14&#176F and 266&#176F. It carries FDA and 3A quality certifications and meets current BPE requirements. The Type 2031 incorporates a forged stainless steel body, and a wide variety of diaphragm materials. The self-draining unit is designed for zero dead volume. The Type 8630, a digital positioning unit or PID controller, provides intelligent process control for “rising stem” valves. The unit receives commands from the plant via an analog connection or digital bus system. The “Process Tune” function determines optimum PID values automatically. The 8630 can retransmit the process value (via a 4-20mA signal), and is available with PROFIBUS DP, ASi and DeviceNet interfaces, or without the PID circuit. The unit is easy to operate, with menu-guided programming, keypad and LCD display.
