AccuRate® volumetric and gravimetric feeders routinely meter dry pharmaceutical powders into jet mills used to do fine grinding. By accurately and consistently charging the jet mill, the milling process, and particle size uniformity are optimized. Feed rates for the various models of AccuRate® feeders range from 5 grams per minute up to 1,137 cubic feet per hour. In addition to metering materials into jet mills, AccuRate® feeders are also used in pharmaceutical applications for tablet coating, tablet counter loading, and bulk ingredient batching and packaging.
