Starflex, an ultra high barrier film, was developed while substituting the traditional LDPE with a thermo-elast (TE). The new composition PVC/TE/PVDC allows a PVDC coating of 120 gr. and higher. Benefits include: 100% security against delamination; more cost efficient (larger output due to higher yield); improved machineability; reduced energy costs due to lower processing temperature.
