The company’s External Decontaminating Machines are designed to clean the external surface of vials and ampoules. Spraying nozzles are designed to avoid process fluid introduction at the seal level. Residual washing fluids are removed from external glass surfaces by compressed air blowing nozzles. They are equipped with a conveyor belt loaded by trays or by an upstream machine conveyor. The conveyor belt feeds the glassware to the washing star-wheel. Ampoules and vials can be washed by using up to three different types of fluids. At the end of the process, glassware is unloaded onto trays and can be connected in-line to a downstream machine.
