Valves, Sensors and Controllers Offer Reliable And Hygienic Fluid Control

By Pharmaceutical Processing | February 26, 2010

The ELEMENT line of valves, sensors, and controllers offer a cleaner environment for hygienic processes. The line is reliable in the control of fluids including steam, corrosive solvents and chemicals, or abrasive fluids such as slurries in a wide variety of applications. The desirable characteristics of engineered polymers are combined with the highly washable endurance of stainless steel. There are no coatings, pockets, or external pneumatic lines to hinder cleanliness, and valves are delivered with bright visual feedback via signal LEDs or a backlit graphic display. Factory floor communication and status monitoring is available via simple 4-20mA or a range of digital protocols. Valves and sensors can also be linked to the enterprise via the company’s AirLINE bus interface system. The flexible modularity of the different valve, sensor, and control components allows for easy replacement or upgrade as process needs change, while maintaining full compatibility of all process hardware.
