The PMA4100 system is specifically designed to measure,
record and report radiation intensities during photostability studies. It is a
system proven to significantly reduce downtime and costs involved with calibration
requirements. The system comprises a NIST Calibrated UVA and Visible
sensor, two reference sensors and organizer software which allows automatic
record keeping, transfer calibration “in place” and audit trail maintenance.
Fully 21CFR 11 compliant, the PMA4100 system operates on a 4-20 mA loop and can
integrate with any recording device or building management system. The major benefit of calibrating “in place” is that the user
only ever needs 2 sensors NIST calibrated each year. These reference sensors
are then placed alongside the regular sensors and a transfer calibration is
completed in minutes. This represents a tremendous saving in calibration costs,
and because the user carries out the calibrations, there is very little
downtime! The software has easy to use password protection, location fields and
calibration data review functions.
