The LDCS-Plus laboratory development coating system is designed with the unique capability of performing process feasibility testing, process development and clinical batches with the ability to utilize eight pans ranging in size from 1.5 to 20.0 liters. Each size of pan has the capability to process as low as 25 percent of the rated volume capacity (1.5, 2.5, 4.0, 6.0, 8.0, 11.0, 15.0 and 20.0 liters) for maximum batch size flexibility. Pan removal and installation is simple and requires no tools. The pans are easily removed through the front access door. The pan cabinet is wash-down, with a drain port to assist in cleaning the system after processing. The portable, self-contained coating system is suitable for the application of aqueous, solvent and sugar film coatings.
