AVIA™ PDF Verify is a software system that compares
electronic files such as customer artwork to vendor proofs of pharmaceutical labels,
cartons and inserts. The software compares PDF files and can be used to check
the integrity of pre- and post-ripped files before going to press. Editable
text and rasterized artwork files can be checked against multiple imposition
ripped files. AVIA™ PDF Verify compares electronic files only, generated from
PDF artwork, ripped files, and other graphics files (tif, png, bmp). It is
especially useful in prepress to compare artwork to artwork files and artwork
to rip files. The software is upgradeable to a full AVIA Proofreading System
when user requirements expand to include comparison of hardcopy to hardcopy
and/or hardcopy to electronic documents. AVIA products verify conformance in
content and quality throughout the entire document development and production
chain.
