The CellMaker Regular™ disposable bioreactor system is specifically for bacterial and yeast fermentation. This single-use bioreactor system, which is available in 1 – 8 liter and 10 – 50 liter sizes, provides increased cell culture densities and improved yields of soluble protein via the on-board precision touch screen control of fermentation conditions. The CellMaker Regular uses ‘CellexusBags™’, a unique, single-use, disposable cell culture bag that facilitate fast set-up times and eliminate lengthy cleaning/validation protocols. Whereas other disposable systems require shakers, rockers, rollers or large environmental chambers, the CellMaker Regular employs proprietary airlift technology to mix, aerate and maintain cell suspension. This simple system is scalable and inexpensive to use and includes 95% pure oxygen generation capability to further improve performance. The CellMaker Regular controller allows for precise management of temperature (from 15 to 45°C), bag-pressure and flow of both air and oxygen into the culture. Accurate control of these parameters enables optimization of culture growth and improved expression levels of soluble protein.
