The manufacturer of the HelixMark® line of fluid-handling products has announced that it will be supplying silicone tubing to the PharmBIO Products business unit of W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. Gore will incorporate the silicone tubing within single-use assemblies for its global pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical customers. Helix Medical provides silicone extrusion in the United States, Europe, and in Costa Rica beginning in the first quarter of 2012. All of the company’s facilities (worldwide) are certified ISO 13485, and extrusion takes place within Class 8 clean rooms.
