The expanded Sanitary Fitting (SF) Series is based on design concepts calling for a heavy-duty part with superior side load strength, while providing superior flow through characteristics; making it ideal for single-use processes. SF Series products are available in two styles and two animal-free materials to meet industry needs. Both mini (3/4") and maxi (1-1/2") flanges are available in animal-free polypropylene and Kynar® PVDF, the mini and maxi caps are available in animal-free polypropylene and all materials comply with USP class VI criteria. Five size options range from 1/4" (6.4 mm) to 1" (25.4 mm) and include male 600 series hose single barb configurations with no parting lines on critical sealing surfaces. The fittings can be sterilized using EtO, autoclaving or gamma techniques. These new fittings and easy-to-use caps have been tested to interconnect with other commonly available plastic and traditional stainless steel parts complying with ISO 2852 or ASME specs. Company also offers platinum-cured silicone gaskets to complete the seal operation.
