AirLINE Type 8644 Remote Process Actuation and Control System offers pharmaceutical processing professionals ON/OFF pneumatic functions, analog and digital input/output modules, and Fieldbus connectivity in a single, DIN rail-mount assembly. With integral use of Allen-Bradley, WAGO, Siemens or Phoenix Contact I/O modules, AirLINE supports virtually any process field device – pneumatic or electronic. Supported Fieldbus interfaces include PROFIBUS DP/FMS, DeviceNet, ControlNet, INTERBUS, CANopen, Ethernet, Ethernet TCP/IP, MODBUS and LONWORKS. The AirLINE valve module utilizes Burkert 10 mm and 16 mm pilot valves (3/2 and 5/2 circuit functions). These valves flow up to 700 l/minute at pressures to 100 psi and incorporate Burkert’s “Rocker” technology. This technology enables fast response times, high-pressure capability, low power consumption, isolation of moving parts from the air stream, and high cycle life.
