The EnviroCam Model 1100 permits viewing and recording of process developments in real time, providing a nonintrusive method to monitor a procedure without interruption. This hermetic videoscope system provides the capacity to integrate the camera to a computer for in-process analysis and recordable verification. Unit can operate in temperature from -212F to 1168F in a vacuum of 10–10 Torr, and handles pressure to 10,000 psi. The system incorporates a chemically inert embodiment of shroud with an integrated synthetic sapphire window along with a cooling gas flow to protect the camera and lens. The lens is available in 17mm and 7mm diameter lens for black and white or color systems. Light sources include powerful xenon or tungsten halogen units.
