The new graphical user interface for the FT4 powder rheometer features an enhanced real-time data display, and enables all users to
fully exploit its multi-functionality. The FT4 combines shear, bulk, dynamic and
axial powder testing methodologies for comprehensive powder characterization.
For new users the GUI provides step-by-step guidance on sample preparation and
running tests, whereas experienced operators have complete flexibility to
create, manage and run user-specific protocols. ‘Characterization’ mode directs the user towards a combination of tests
that provide a complete profile of a powder’s behavior while ‘Application’ modes
offer test methods that support a particular process or unit operation.
