The Reliance 680PG washer features a new total organic carbon (TOC) monitoring system that verifies the presence of residual detergent or soil in the final rinse water, which provides a higher level of assurance that the load items have been properly cleaned and rinsed. This new system also has chamber spray arms whose rotation can be monitored to ensure constant and complete spray coverage of all the items in the load. The new system complies with the ASME BPE 2007 (Bio Processing Equipment) standard, which relates to the requirements applicable to system design for bioprocessing, pharmaceutical and personal care product industries. The 680PG washer was also designed to minimize its impact on the environment. The system can use re-circulated chilled water to cool down the effluent, which saves 36 gallons (136L) of valuable cold water during each heated cycle phase. An extensive line of modular loading accessories is easy to configure with the system, and the washer can be built with either a Siemens or Allen-Bradley programmable logic controller.
