Pepperl+Fuchs has announced the acquisition of the Enclosure Protection Systems Division of Bebco Industries. Bebco EPS features a portfolio of purge and pressurization panels and control units for hazardous areas. Pepperl+Fuchs will retain the Bebco EPS brand name for the newly acquired product line.
“This union brings a global presence to what is now the world’s largest selection of purge and pressurization equipment,” said Jim Bolin, Senior Vice President of Pepperl+Fuchs.” Bebco EPS customers will still have the same quality and service they’ve come to expect but they gain Pepperl+Fuchs’ expertise and products for hazardous area technology.”
The acquisition enhances Pepperl+Fuchs’ position as a single-source provider of solutions for hazardous areas, including products for fieldbus, intrinsic safety and purge/pressurization.
