BOTHELL, Wash. (AP) — OncoGenex Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Friday it completed a sale of shares to institutional investors, raising $9.4 million after deducting expenses. The company said Monday it planned to sell 475,000 shares at $20 per share to institutional investors. The proceeds will be used for manufacturing activities and for general corporate purposes. OncoGenex shares closed at $20.72 on July 17, the last trading day before the offer was announced, and finished at $26.50 Thursday. OncoGenex is a development-stage company with no products on the market. It has four potential cancer treatments in clinical testing, and another in preclinical studies.
