By Pharmaceutical Processing | October 22, 2015

Safe Chain Solutions announced that it has added Safe Chain Track and Trace™ to the solutions they offer to the healthcare industry.

The Safe Chain Track and Trace solution creates T3 documents for all customers. This gives customers complete online access to all their transaction details, including:Beginning July 1, 2015, the FDA required that dispensers provide lot-level product tracing with transaction information, history, and statements to their customers to enhance secure drug tracing and safety throughout the pharmaceutical supply chain. The Safe Chain Track and Trace T3 Management System meets the FDA’s requirements, ensuring that Safe Chain is in compliance with the new regulation. Safe Chain has also made modifications to its system that permit customers to track their orders and proof of deliveries (POD) from the Safe Chain Track & Trace website.

Safe Chain President and Partner Charles Boyd commented on the Safe Chain Track and Trace system, saying, “This new system exceeds all of the standards that are required by the FDA. It gives our customers peace of mind knowing that Safe Chain is in compliance, and that they can quickly and easily get the information they need about their transactions. Patient safety is our highest priority and we’re dedicated to this through security and integrity throughout the pharmaceutical supply chain.”
