Motion Industries Opens Distribution Center Near Seattle

Motion Industries, Inc., a distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation replacement parts, has opened a new distribution center in Auburn, WA.

The 62,000-sq-ft center offers access to Interstates 5, 405, and 90, as well as Sea-Tac International Airport. The location stocks a range of industrial parts and supplies including bearings, power transmission products, fluid power components, electrical parts, and safety supplies. It serves 24 area Motion Industries branch locations and other branches as needed.

The new facility complements the company’s primary North American distribution centers in Birmingham, AL; Tracy, CA; Chicago, IL; Baltimore, MD; Dallas, TX; Edmonton, AB; and Lachine, QC.

Motion Industries serves more than 300,000 customers from the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, pulp and paper, iron and steel, chemical, mining and aggregate, petrochemical, automotive, and wood and lumber industries.

The new distribution center, which is managed by Ryan Mort, is located at 4401 D Street NW, Suite A, in Auburn, WA. Motion Industries is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company.
