The XFP 5.0 MES platform provides life science industries with state-of-the-art industry-specific process management and robust Java JEE-5 architecture. The new version offers more than 100 feature enhancements, an interactive interface and a path toward service-oriented architecture (SOA). Aligned with Web 2.0 concepts, the company has used Rich Faces and Ajax technologies to build a new XFP V5.0 web interface. The key objective was to provide users with increased ease, responsiveness and interactivity when using the MES solution. The XFP-MES platform provides production visibility and control throughout the enterprise by optimizing the production cycle. It spans from raw material delivery to end product shipment in compliance with 21CFR part 11 and ISA 88/95. The new XFP-MES platform is one step towards a service-oriented architecture (SOA) and meets manufacturer challenges in terms of reusability, interoperability and robustness. Based on Java JEE-5, the XFP platform works seamlessly in Linux, Unix or Windows environments including Vista.
