LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Los Angeles company is recalling a dietary supplement because it contains an active ingredient used for treating erectile dysfunction. Manufacturer Haloteco announced the recall of Libipower Plus on Tuesday. The FDA said the product contains an active ingredient for treating erectile dysfunction, but did not list that ingredient on the label. The FDA says the unlisted ingredient could interact dangerously with such prescription drugs as nitroglycerin, or cause side effects such as headaches and flushing. The product is sold by the capsule in a blister pack at retail stores in California.
