The PicoLine is a miniature scale of the existing Hosokawa line, available for size reduction/micronization, classification and mixing. These products are ideally for processing high value materials in a laboratory while maximizing product recovery. Company will be displaying the PicoJet, a Fluidized Bed Opposed Jet Mill. Manufactured with the utmost precision, the 1 inch classifying wheel runs at speeds of up to 60,000 rpm. This machine can operate with small batches, around 5 grams or up to 1 kilogram/hour in a continuous operation mode. The Pico line will also include the PicoBond, a mechanofusion and particle design apparatus for batches of 0.1 liters, the PicoLiq, an agitated ball mill for wet grinding samples between 8-90 ml, and the Piconizer, a spiral jet mill for batches of 0.1-5 grams.
