The Opus steam trap valve is designed exclusively for the
high purity, pharmaceutical market. This multifunctional valve provides three
states of fluid control utilizing critical orifice designs allowing condensate
to reach the steam trap. The integrated design eliminates more complex piping
schemes, reduces the number of components and delivers overall system value and
reliability. Opus valves are available with a wide selection of sizes, trap
connections, system connections and materials including 316L cast and forged,
Hastelloy and AL6XN. Trap ports may be tri-clamp or extended tubing in sizes
from ¼” to 1”. For automated systems, a three position, 180 degree actuator is
controlled using typical two wire controls in DeviceNet, As-I or other system
logic. The Opus valve meets ASME/BPE guidelines for full flow, drainability,
surface finish and materials.
