The SITRANS F US ultrasonic flow meter features a helix-shaped ultrasonic signal ideal for the measurement of electrically conductive and non-conductive liquids. This patented sound guidance system significantly increases the reliability of the speed profile sampling in the flow meter’s measuring pipe. This allows the SITRANS F US to provide a reliable measurement regardless of low flow rates, low nominal bores, high viscosity, or turbulence. The unit is easy to install; there are no obstructions in the flow pipe, and no moving parts to break or wear out. Unit is available with a digital output via PROFIBUS-PA, profile 3, or with an analog 4-20 mA output using HART communications. A wide range of diagnostic functions ensures the reliability of the flow measurement.
