The SFM 5110 processes two or five syringes or vials at each machine cycle. Depending on the equipment fitted and the desired degree of automation, the feed and removal of the nests can be manual or fully automatic. The syringe or vial barrels are held in position precisely by the centering mechanism integrated in the nest holder. In accordance with pharmaceutical standards, transporting within the main work area, filling the product, and closing the syringe or vial barrels with plunger or rubber stoppers is always fully automatic. Servo technology is utilized for the highest flexibility and efficiency. The unit is specifically designed for use in sterile conditions and meets GMP and FDA guidelines as well as all standards valid worldwide for the processing of injectible pharmaceutical products.
