The company’s engineering team was especially challenged with the in-feed of the plastic containers for this eye drop line. Two newly designed sorting units process a variety of bottle types and sizes without any change of format parts and allow the secure transfer into the newly developed segment transport system. The feeding and sorting is completely autoclavable due to an adapted design and use of appropriate materials. This set up is unique in the field of plastic bottle processing.
