The Offline Dissolution System offers highly flexible sample processing and analysis options. The unit makes it possible to collect high precision samples, to dilute the samples automatically using only one syringe pump, in combination with the Auto-Sampler. Fresh media can also be added automatically to replace the sample taken out of the test vessel. By using the 8-channel Glass-Syringe Pump that can be located adjacent to the dissolution tester the dosage accuracy can be cut down to +/- 0.1 ml. For analysis the collected samples are manually taken from the fraction collector and passed over to the analyzer. This method allows for the use of any analysis system already available in the laboratory. Optionally the system can be upgraded and connected to a UV-VIS spectralphotometer, software and PC for automatic sample analysis.
