Series GGME Gauge Guards protect ultra-pure liquids from contamination, and protect sensitive gauges from corrosion, clogging, instrument failure and resultant downtime. A flexible, durable, diaphragm in the guard serves as a barrier between process and instrument. The flexing characteristics of the diaphragm results in exceptional response to even small changes in pressure or vacuum, with accuracy to +/-4%. The compact, 1 3/8 inches unit is ideal for installations with restricted space, and are compatible with most thermoplastic piping systems. Instrument connections are 1/4 inches NPT in glass-filled polypropylene, with 1/2 inches male NPT process connection in natural polypropylene to protect liquid purity. They are available with pressure gauges to 200 psi, vacuum gauges, or diaphragm seal only.
