The Biomass System is an on-line capacitance Biomass sensor that monitors viable cell density in bioreactors from lab to cGMP production. The Biomass system is routinely used for monitoring animal cells in suspension or attached to micro-carrier but also for monitoring yeast or bacteria in batch and fed-batch processes with high biomass concentration. The company has also introduced the BIODIS a disposable single use version of the capacitance sensor. In addition, the company has launched the BIOPOD Series: multiple high density and versatile fermentation – cell culture devices at bench scale.
