The Accela-Cota® FLEX 05, is a fully integrated benchtop coater with HMI touch-screen controls. The coater is furnished with a standard electrical plug and tools-free compressed air fitting so start up is quick and easy. The FLEX 05 features a range of solution delivery and air handling devices to permit tremendous versatility. The coater can run aqueous film, sugar coating, functional and modified release coatings, and sophisticated processes involving one or more drug layers – all within a 24″ x 36″ footprint on the lab bench. In addition, the coater can process more than just tablets – softgels, mini-tabs, beads and certain granules are the substrates that can be coated in the FLEX 05. The unit features computer-based controls, process data acquisition and reporting in a compact package and with color touch-screen HMI.
