WALTHAM, MA (July 12, 2004) – Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of rapid diagnostic products for the consumer and professional markets, announced that it initiated shipments of three over the counter women’s health products in June.

The Clearblue Easy Easy Read Ovulation Test is a digitally read ovulation test that provides a non-ambiguous indication of the lutenizing hormone surge. The Clearblue Easy Pregnancy Test with the Color Sure Tip incorporates a sample wick that turns pink upon application of the sample.

In June 2003, Inverness and Warner-Lambert Company, LLC, a subsidiary of Pfizer, Inc., reached agreement to settle certain patent infringement items associated with Warner-Lambert’s e.p.t pregnancy test. Inverness became the supplier of Warner-Lambert’s e.p.t pregnancy tests beginning in June 2004. As planned, Inverness completed its initial shipment of the e.p.t product to Warner-Lambert in June.
